**Proposal Summary** This proposal recommends that the [Ether.fi](http://Ether.fi) DAO allocates an additional 4,000,000 ETHFI tokens for use in Season 4 (S4). The primary purpose of this allocation is to incentivize new promotions and deposits during the season. Any rewards that remain unused for promotions by the end of Season will be redirected to enhance the distribution for all participants in S4. **Rationale** A part of [ether.fi](http://ether.fi)’s growth strategy relies on aligning community incentives with the platform’s long-term objectives. Previous seasons have demonstrated that well-targeted promotional efforts can significantly increase participation and deposit growth. Examples of successful programs include [StakeRank](https://etherfi.gitbook.io/etherfi/events/season-2-stakerank),[StakingFrens](https://etherfi.gitbook.io/etherfi/events/stakingfrens), and the [Diamond Campaign](https://etherfi.gitbook.io/etherfi/events/season-3-diamond-campaign), utilized throughout seasons 1-3 which grew the restaking mindshare and community. This proposal seeks to further this success by allocating ETHFI specifically to bolster promotional campaigns and reward programs in S4. **Specification** 1. 4,000,000 ETHFI Tokens to be dedicated to: - Marketing and promotional campaigns targeting new users. - Rewarding users for making new deposits. - Retention campaigns to encourage sustained staking of existing [ether.fi](http://ether.fi) stakers. 1. Usage Plan: - Promotions and Deposit Incentives: A portion of the allocated tokens will be used to incentivize new deposits. - Community Engagement: ETHFI tokens will be used in initiatives such as contests, and community-driven projects to promote [ether.fi](http://ether.fi) adoption. - Unused Tokens: Any unused ETHFI tokens from this allocation will be added to the general distribution for all S4 participants, ensuring that rewards benefit the community fully. **Mechanics** These incentives for S4 will continue to leverage the foundational mechanisms that have successfully driven growth in prior seasons, while enhancing incentivization across [ether.fi](http://ether.fi)’s expanding ecosystem of assets. These updated mechanisms are designed to attract new deposits, reward loyal participants, and maximize the utility of ETHFI tokens for growth. Reward Categories - ETHFI Token Rewards: Core rewards for all incentivized actions during S4. - Partner Token Rewards: In collaboration with select DeFi partners, additional token rewards and loyalty point multipliers may be introduced to enhance value for participants. - Enhanced Loyalty Multiplier: Boosts and multipliers for [ether.fi](http://ether.fi) loyalty rewards may apply. Tracking and Transparency - All distributed rewards and allocations will be tracked and reported monthly to the DAO. @ether.fi strong focus needs to be on retention and rewarding loyalty, especially with protocols such as Hyper Liquid turning heads. Rewarding loyal users creates a bedrock. ---
